My Migraines

Well, my migraines used to be like this - not frequent and easily solved. Ohhhh the good ‘ol days. I could just avoid a few things like my favorite moldy cheese and be fine. I could just hide out for a few hours with a few ibuprofen and be fine.

What are they like now? Like there’s nothing I can do to prevent them, they happen once every few months and the last one was so bad I had to have my husband take me to Immediate Care. Immediate Care couldn’t do enough for me and I had to go to the ER.

And why? I’d say it’s the perfect storm of stress, allergies, stress, hormone changes (I’m 46) and did I mention STRESS? And there’s just really only so much I can do! I avoid all the things you’re supposed to avoid, I stay hydrated, eat right, exercise, do what I can to manage my stress.

So right now I’m following up on some of the causes and what I can do about that and I have an extremely redundant back up plan.
